Can a perometer calculate circumferential and volumetric measurements ?
Circumferential Measurements
The perometer is programmed to immediately calculate circumference measurements from the recorded image. The girth, or circumference measurement useful for both sizing the limb for garments as well as tracking changes in the limb.
Volume Measurements
The perometer also calculates the total volume of the limb segment. With accurate circumference measurements recorded every 1/2 cm., the volumetric measurement is much more accurate than a measurement derived from hand measuring (typically done every 4 cm).
